## Outputs you generate

**You own the music you create.** Audio outputs generated through the Soundpiece API — whether from a text prompt, reference audio, or automated processing — are assigned to you upon generation. Soundpiece does not retain any ownership interest in outputs produced under your account.

You are free to:

* Use outputs commercially
* Sync outputs to video, advertising, or other media
* Distribute outputs via streaming, broadcast, or download
* Sub-license outputs to your end clients (e.g. if you are an agency producing music on behalf of a brand)
* Modify, remix, or build upon outputs

***

## Royalty-free guarantee

All Soundpiece-generated audio is **royalty-free**. There are no per-use fees, sync fees, or PRO (Performing Rights Organisation) obligations arising from Soundpiece's side.

This applies globally. There are no geographic restrictions on where you may use the music.

<Warning>
  If you provide an audio `reference` or `source` URL, you are responsible for ensuring you hold the appropriate rights to that material. Soundpiece-generated outputs derived from third-party material may carry the rights obligations of that source.

## What Soundpiece retains

Soundpiece retains:

* The underlying AI models and generation infrastructure
* Anonymised, aggregated usage data (never linked to individual outputs)

Soundpiece does **not** retain:

* Ownership of generated outputs
* The right to use your audio for any purpose (including model training) without explicit consent

***

## Prohibited uses

The following uses are not permitted under any plan:

* Generating music that impersonates a specific living artist's style with the intent to deceive listeners
* Using Soundpiece to produce music for use in content that promotes illegal activity, hate speech, or incitement to violence
* Attempting to reverse-engineer or extract the underlying AI models

  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="Can I register a Soundpiece output for copyright?">
    Copyright law on AI-generated content is evolving. We recommend seeking specialist legal advice if copyright registration is important for your use case.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="Can I use outputs on YouTube or other monetised platforms?">
